Check in - Check out Times

Occupancy and Accommodations

Each unit is limited to the number of persons indicated on your confirmation.

The apartments managed by Playa Rentals are privately owned and furnished by the owner. Stereos, extra beds or televisions are not standard equipment. Playa Rentals will not be responsible for providing additional items required by your party.

Cleaning

Your accommodations will be cleaned prior to your arrival.
One cleaning service will be provided in a week rental.
Any extra house cleaning service is not complementary but available at an additional charge $25 USD each time.
Cleaning service is not available on Christmas Day or New Year's Day.
Pets are not allowed in any of the accommodations.

Keys and Towels

Upon arrival two house keys will be provided per each rented unit.
$10.00 US per key will be deducted from the damage deposit if keys are not returned at the end of rental date.
Lost beach towels will be deducted from damage deposit at $25.00 US per towel.

Reservations and Deposits

To confirm your reservation, a 50% deposit of total rental rate plus refundable damage deposit of $300.00 US must be received within 7 days of booking.
Balance of rental rate will be collected upon arrival in cash or travelers checks or you can pay balance in advance before arrival (see mailing address below).
100% is due for reservations made less than 30 days before arrival date.

Christmas and New Year’s Reservations

100% of total rental rate plus refundable damage deposit of $300.00 US is due after acceptance of reservation.
Total payment must be received within 7 days of booking.
Cancellation of Christmas and New Year's bookings are subject to 100% surcharge regardless of time of cancellation.

Cancellations

Cancellations will be effective on the date a written notice is received by email or fax in our office. Playa Rentals will process refunds within two weeks in a form of a check in US Dollars. All cancellations are charged a minimum $100.00 US administrative fee.

60+ days prior to arrival - forfeit $100 US administrative fee
40-59 days prior to arrival - forfeit 25% of full rental deposit
22-39 days prior to arrival - forfeit 40% of full rental deposit
Less than 21 days prior to arrival - forfeit 100% of full rental deposit
Christmas and New Year's weeks - forfeit 100% of full rental deposit

100% of the damage deposit will be refunded when written notice is received.

We recommend purchasing trip insurance when booking. Be sure to send a signed copy of this rental agreement, and write your name and dates of reservation on the check. Please send only one check in the name of the person on the contract even if there are multiple parties in your group.

Playa del Carmen

In case this is your first trip to Playa del Carmen you can go everywhere in shorts or casual clothing tie and coat are never required

How to get here...

From the Cancun Tulum Highway drive south approximately 50 km.
Just before you arrive in central Playa del Carmen, turn left at the first traffic light and make a U-turn.
Turn right at the Volkswagen dealership.
Drive all the way toward the beach, towards the Shangri-La Hotel.
Natz Ti Ha condominiums buildings on the left, white with cobalt blue roof tile.

Please advise if you plan to arrive after 6.00 PM so we can make the proper arrangements. Advise us of your arrival and departure times from Cancun. Make sure we have that information.

If you require transportation service from Cancun Airport the service is provided by an independent Cancun company and we are not responsible for accidents and/or delays. One way charge $95.00 US, payable to the company driver.

Cost of transportation is subject to change without notice unless Playa Rentals has sent you written confirmation.
